Your friends just called and announced that they are going to drop by your apartment in Mountlake Terrace<\/a><\/a>, WA. This would be fantastic, except that your modernized Taluswood Apartments kitchen is a disaster. Use these quick tips to make your apartment sparkle by the time they arrive.<\/p>\n

1.      START THE DISHWASHER IMMEDIATELY.<\/h2>\n

Most of the apartments available at Taluswood Apartments come with dishwashers. This is great news for quick clean up. Place all of the dishes that are in the sink or strewn about the kitchen in the dishwasher and start it up. This will not only get your dishes clean, but it clears out a lot of the clutter from your space as well, allow the large countertops to appear even larger.<\/p>\n

2.      GATHER AND SORT.<\/h2>\n

Once you have removed the dirty dishes, go through and remove all of the trash from the kitchen and dining space. In many of our floor plans<\/a>, the dining room is one of the first things you see as you walk in the door, so having this area clean is important too. Picking up all the trash at once will make the process faster. Once you have removed the trash, pick up anything that does not belong in the kitchen or dining space and set it aside. If you have time, you can come back to these things later.<\/p>\n

3.      WASH DOWN THE COUNTERTOPS AND STOVE.<\/h2>\n

Once you have cleared everything out, you should be able to wash down the counters and stove. Most of our units include a built-in microwave, which gives you more counter space. The electric stove that is provided in most units also makes quick cleaning easier.<\/p>\n

4.      SWEEP AND MOP<\/h2>\n

When you are completely finished removing things, sweep and mop. You want to wait to do this last so that you catch all of the crumbs off of the countertops or stove. You can also avoid having to sweep and mop twice because you will no longer be moving about in the space with dirty shoes or feet.<\/p>\n
