The end of October is coming, and the beginning of the fall holidays are coming with it. The City of Mountlake Terrace Dance and Fitness Program, along with the Kontagious Dance Company, are putting on their yearly Costume Carnival again – which means you have the opportunity to show off your costume and enjoy everything the carnival has to offer, including games, food and dancing.<\/p>\n
THE ANNUAL COSTUME CARNIVAL – MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WASHINGTON<\/h2>\n
There will be a lot going on at this year’s Costume Carnival. The festivities at will include a costume contest, performances and dancing. There will be a variety of tasty snacks, music, crafts and games, such as cake walks and the Go-Fish Tank.<\/p>\n
In addition to the harvest festival activities, there will also be dance performances from the Kontagious Dance Company. You can see what the dance group has been up to and try out your own moves on the dance floor.<\/p>\n
You can buy tickets at the door for $5 per person, or come with your family to get a discount – $10 for a family of four. All proceeds from the Costume Carnival will benefit the Mountlake Terrace Dance Company Scholarship Fun as well as the Kontagious Arts Foundation. As always, additional donations are welcome!<\/p>\n
If you are planning a cool costume – or if you are keeping it simple – you should get dressed up and come on down to the Carnival. You might just win the contest! But even if you don’t, the event will give you a chance to try out your costume before Halloween. Practice makes perfect!<\/p>\n
